Legal Bar Association links.

The IBA is a voluntary bar association of international legal practitioners, bar associations and law societies. The International Bar Association currently has a membership of 50,000 individual lawyers and 200 bar associations and law societies. IBA's global headquarters are located in London, England, and it has regional offices in Washington, USA, Seoul, Korea and Sao Paolo, Brazil.

Under the Attorney’s Law, the Union of Turkish Bar Associations is “an organization constituted from all the Bar Associations” in Turkey, and is a “non profit making legal entity in the form of a public professional organization”. Since its establishment in 1969, the Union of Turkish Bar Associations has worked in the most effective way to bring about the conditions necessary for “the rule of law” and “fair trial”. Today, 80000 lawyers are practicing registered to 78 Bar Associations in Turkey.

The New York State Bar Association has shaped the development of the law, educated and informed the profession and the public, and responded to the demands of a changing society. Today, with a membership of more than 77,000 lawyers, representing every town, city and county in the state, the New York State Bar Association is the oldest and largest voluntary state bar organization in the nation. The Association's objectives, originally stated in its constitution adopted in 1877. BASF, The Bar Association of San Francisco. Foundation: 1872. Non-profit voluntary membership organization of over 9000 lawyers in San Francisco. The BASF's lawyer referral service and Volunteer Legal Services Program (VLSP) has served thousands of people in desperate need of legal help, with the assistance of volunteer attorneys, social workers, and legal advocates. Bay Area Legal Aid (BayLegal) is the largest provider of free civil legal services throughout the Bay Area committed to providing meaningful access to the civil justice system for Bay Area residents living in poverty regardless of a client's location, language, or disability. VLSP and BayLegal are now collaborating to establish a new pilot project for transitioning and retired attorneys.
